About me

I have been an animal lover all my life. I was lucky enough to have grown up in Africa with a very indulgent Father which enabled me to have a huge variety of animals as pets growing up.  Cats have been my constant, We grew up with Siamese cats. I had dreams of being a vet, and worked at our local vet practice in all my holidays. It was there, I met a Red Point Siamese kitten and decided I would like to have a Siamese of my own. After much research I met a wonderful breeder - Barbara Schambacher - who took a chance on a young girl and sold me my first Female - a lilac point Siamese called Mischka.  She was my first show cat and my first breeding queen.

I have always worked with animals in different capacities throughout my life, including Feral Rescue - we were known as the crazy cat people and anyone who found a kitten brought it to us. Showing, Breeding, Education and working with small local rescues here in England. Cats are my passion, my greatest love and I never stop learning from them.

Our Story

Having started in the cat fancy at the tender age of 14 in South Africa with Siamese cats, I was bitten by the bug very early on in life . My first litter was born when I was 16. Upon moving to the U.K. I visited a TICA Cat Show in Swanley back in 2009 and met a gentleman from Latvia who was visiting the show with a Peterbald. I had never seen one before but immediately fell in love with the breed. I spent the next 2 years researching and chatting with breeders from across the world. In 2011 I met a breeder in Lithuania who's values aligned with my own. It was decided that when the right kitten came along I would be able to purchase her and have her as a breeding queen for my cattery. In January 2012 I saw the most equisite kitten on Indre's webpage and it was decided that Lt* Ideal Cat Principessa would come to London and become part of my life. Princess was the most equisite cat I had ever laid eyes on! A Seal Point with White Chamois coated Peterbald. She arrived with Indre in March and was the true love of my life. She was everything I dreamed a Peterbald would be and was my soul's companion. I then entered the incredible world of TICA Shows. This was a completely different style show to the ones I was used to in South Africa and I loved the system. Princess became very well known on the circut and became a Regional Winner, Breed Winner and Supreme Grand Champion. She loved to show and helped me put the breed on the map here in the U.K with her charm, grace and wonderful personality. She enjoyed an incredible show career before retiring happily at home. With a beautiful black male Peterbald - Watson - also coming in from Indre. I began breeding. As Peterbalds are so rare here in the United Kingdom, I had to import cats from across the world for my breeding programme. Some from St Petersburg, Vologda in Russia, Spain, and Kazakhstan. Watson lies in the background of most of our progeny. We have2 new ladies for our future breeding plans - Elfi a wonderful Blue and White Bicolour Chamois coated girl and Ermintrude a stunning Oriental Shorthair (a permissable outcross). We are very much looking forward to the next generation when these young ladies have grown. I would like to stress this is my hobby, it is my love and my passion. It has always been my feeling that if I can give one person the joy I have received from my cats, then I have achieved something wonderful in life. There is nothing like a Peterbald! As my dear friend Indre first explained to me - "a little like a dog in devotion, a monkey in activity, a human in love, and a little bit alien too." I still don't think I have come up with a better way of describing the breed! They will change your world for the better, just like they have mine, and I would never be without them.

What Makes us Different

We are a bespoke, hobby breeder cattery in London. We do this for love of the breed and wanting people to experience the same joy we do from owning a Peterbald.

Our Vision

Our services are very personal, anyone adopting a cat from me becomes an extended family member of mine. I will only ever place a baby into a home that I believe is completely correct for both the kitten and the owner. I will always want to keep in contact to find out how your child is doing and am delighted to answer as many questions as needed. So in a nutshell - we do not have "customers," we have family.

Three Words

Loving, Intelligent, Graceful
